Donora killer smog

Finland's Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority (STUK) recommends restricting children's use of mobile phones, January 7, 2009
The Authority says radiation from mobile phones could pose a health especially because children tend to use mobile phones much more than adults and their brains are developing. The authority says that the degree of risk will only become known in several decades. They encourage text messaging and hands free units or ear pieces. Speaking in areas with poor reception causes phones to use more power and should be avoided. More
French government proposes cell phone restrictions
All advertising of the devices to children under 12 is to be prohibited; sales of phones designed to be used by children under age 6 will be banned; handsets must be sold with earphones. More
